We have experienced a chef who incorporated art into cooking while we were in Japan. That inspired us to bring such a great opportunity here in Thailand for Thai people. Furthermore, 4 of us as co-founders of the group, are very impressed by the “GIVE MORE” culture or “Giving more than what we asked for” of Japanese people, therefore we have taken that as our Philosophy and Guidelines for doing business since then.

That’s how the MAGURO brand started as the first brand of our group. In 2015 our first branch opened at Chic Republic Bangna with only 10 employees working in the Head office at that time.

Sensual Sushi

MAGURO started the brand as a Japanese restaurant with a unique characteristic of “Sensual Sushi” and suddenly became very popular. We are almost the first brand that uses effective captivate digital marketing strategy. As a result, our brand “MAGURO” is well known as “Long queue Sushi” that everyone is willing to wait for an hour, like some famous restaurants in Japan. Moreover, we are also popular in terms of good price value, freshness and excellent quality of ingredients, together with mellow taste of food and extremely attentive service that lead to word of mouth from friends to friends.

History

After the great success of our first branch, MAGURO Group Co.,Ltd. led by 4 executives and co-founders, continued to develop recipes, services and branding throughout the first year. In 2016, we opened 3 more branches focusing on residential areas in outer Bangkok such as Ratchaphruek and Chaengwattana. Then later in 2017, MAGURO opened its first branch in the Department store at Mega Bangna as the fifth branch. In the latter year during 2018 – 2020, we opened another 4 branches to provide MAGURO experience in the inner Bangkok area such as Siam Square, Esplanade Ratchada including expanded to Rama 2 areas as well.

In 2020 MAGURO Group Co.,Ltd. launched Delivery Service under MAGURO GO brand in order to fulfill MAGURO’s customer experience during Covid-19 epidemic situation. In addition, the company also launched a new brand “SSAMTHING TOGETHER”, the Korean BBQ menu in Delivery style for customers who like Korean food with the concept of eating Korean BBQ while watching Korean series during lockdown and Work from Home.

In 2021 MAGURO Group Co.,Ltd. celebrated the 6th anniversary by opening the new Flagship Store at the heart of Central World shopping center and rebranding its Brand image to be more premium and modern. From the popularity of SSAMTHING TOGETHER brand in Delivery style during the past 1 year, company has seen an opportunity for growth of SSAMTHING TOGETHER brand. So the company developed the recipes to become a premium and tasty Korean restaurant serving the well selected raw materials in Korean original eating culture. Then open the first official branch at MEGA Bangna Shopping center. In the same year MAGURO Group Co.,Ltd. was incorporated with the group of leading financial institutions in the Asian region with 300 million baht of investment to expand their future business.

In 2022 MAGURO Group Co.,Ltd. launched the third brand under the name of “HITORI SHABU” which is the Kanzai original taste of Shabu Shabu and Sukiyaki at the center of Siam Paragon Shopping Center. Everyone can enjoy their own food in a single pot, with a premium grade of A5 beef at an affordable price. Company also introduced an official “Membership Management System '' by bringing the international CRM or Customer Relationship Management System called Sale Force to manage “Membership Management System '' for every brand in the same group. Until now we have all membership under the MAGURO group of more than 100,000 persons.

From the popularity and success of the two new brands “SSAMTHING TOGETHER” and “HITORI SHABU” together with the increasing of MAGURO Brand’s loyalty, the company is continuously growing by expanding all 3 brands in order to cope with customers’ needs in several areas during the past one year.

At present in 2023, more than 800 employees of MAGURO Group Co.,Ltd. are proudly presenting the fulfilling and outstanding dining experience with the “GIVE MORE” concept throughout 21 branches under MAGURO, SSAMTHING TOGETHER and HITORI SHABU brands.
